Aldridge & District Dog Training Club

Friendly, positive dog training in the heart of Aldridge

A welcoming local club where dogs and owners learn together through structured sessions, positive reinforcement, and practical support from experienced trainers.

Welcome to the Club

Training, support, and a strong local community

Aldridge & District Dog Training Club has been supporting local dog owners for many years, providing a friendly, safe, and structured environment where dogs and their owners can learn together.

Whether you have a new puppy or a more experienced dog, our sessions are designed to help build confidence, improve behaviour, and strengthen the bond between you and your dog.

We are proud to offer a welcoming and supportive community for all members.

Our Training Approach

Positive reinforcement at the centre of every session

Our training is based on positive reinforcement techniques, encouraging good behaviour through reward, consistency, and clear communication.

This creates a safe and enjoyable experience for dogs while helping owners build practical, real-life obedience skills they can rely on away from the training ground as well as during class.

Our experienced trainers are always on hand to guide and support you throughout your training journey, helping you build confidence and steady long-term progress.

What We Offer

Structured weekly sessions for all levels

We run structured weekly sessions for puppies, younger dogs starting out, and more experienced dogs ready to keep progressing. Classes focus on obedience, behaviour, confidence building, and the sort of everyday skills that make life with your dog easier and more enjoyable.

All breeds are welcome, and sessions are designed to be inclusive, supportive, and enjoyable for both dogs and handlers.

Our Community

More than just a training club

Aldridge & District Dog Training Club is more than a place to attend a weekly class. We are a community of dog lovers, run by a dedicated committee and volunteer trainers who care about creating a friendly environment where dogs and owners can learn, develop, and socialise together.

That sense of community is a big part of what makes the club special, whether you are coming along with a new puppy or continuing to train with a more experienced dog.

Important Information

Keeping sessions safe and comfortable

To help keep sessions safe and comfortable for everyone, dogs should be up to date with vaccinations and remain under control throughout the class. Handlers are responsible for their dogs at all times, and our trainers will always work to keep the training environment calm, supportive, and well managed.

Members are kindly asked to arrive a little early when needed, especially at renewal time, so that classes can begin promptly and run smoothly.
